In 48 years, it has developed rapidly and transformed from a ceramic tile manufacturer to a world-class one-stop service provider including business domains: sanitary wares, wood flooring, painting, home deco, whole house customization, etc. Through unremitting product innovation and technological development，DONGPENG has become one of the China's leading brands in the ceramic industry, and the largest ceramic manufacturer and trendsetter. With more than 7,000 retail stores and products exported to 106 countries and regions on 6 continents, DONGPENG International is the overseas branch of DONGPENG Group's Ceramic Tiles Business, targeting at the middle and high-end consumer market and providing full range ceramic tile products and related supporting services.
In order to be line with the world's top brand, DONGPENG has directly established their own sales network abroad, making solid steps towards internationalization to achieve continuous self-improvement. DONGPENG, the first Chinese ceramic brand that went abroad to the CERSAIE, Bologna ,Italy, on behalf of the Chinese nation, propelling Chinese ceramics into the global arena. So far, it has participated in 7 consecutive exhibitions successfully. What is more, DONGPENG has been attending Coverings Expo, the preeminent event for the ceramic tile & natural stone industry in North America, for 12th consecutive times so far. In the near future, DONGPENG will bring more innovative products to the international stages.
In March 2004, DONGPENG opened the first foreign exclusive store in Korea, selling single-brand products.
In August 2006, DONGPENG successfully registered in Italy and make a further step into the Europe Market.
In February 2007, the first DONGPENG showroom was officially opened in Italy, which was praised as "the embassy of Chinese ceramics" and won pride for Chinese ceramics industry.
Today, there are hundreds of DONGPENG showroom in India, South Korea, Italy, the United States, Thailand, Vietnam and other regions, and DONGPENG has gradually established a very good brand image with customers in more than 106 countries and regions around the world.
DONGPENG not only resemble vividly natural material’s beauty by senses of viewing, feeling and touching on single piece, but also can match or even surpass natural material on overall tiling and applying effects. From their being put into market, DONGPENG products have been warmly welcomed by real estate developers and widely adopted in their high rank projects and many famous commercial buildings, such as the 5-star hotel of UAE Airlines, Hilton Hotel, Guangzhou Opera House, 4S Chain stores of BMW and Benz etc., and widely applied in villas and luxury apartments enjoyed by social elites.
As of the end of 2012, Dongpeng had five production facilities for ceramic tile products, which located in the north, central, south and west of China.
As of December 31st 2019, the production capacity of the company has reached to 120 million sqm. Dongpeng has established a solid foundation to offer first-class products to customers with its Ph7,200-tone-grade presses from SACMI Italy, 1200x1800 large polishing machines and 180m-long modern hi-tech kiln.
From the beginning of the company’s establishment, Dongpeng paid heavy attention to the adjustment and improvement of its production equipment.
To maintain the well quality and stability of its products, Dongpeng ensures superior original material and glaze stain for its products. With the advanced equipment and ISO9001:2000 quality management system, every tile produced by Dongpeng is tested via international standards to ensure its precision, absorption, smoothness and other technical parameters can reach the international level.
1. Environmental protection production
Dongpeng adopts the dry processing of raw materials to achieve 30-50% power saving rate; the circular economy foam ceramic production consumes the soild waste substantially; the photovoltaic power generation introduction improves the workshop temperature control and converse the solar energy into the electricity; the annual green power is of 9.3 million kwh to save 3,000 tons standard coal. The method has the advantages of no pollution, energy saving and environment protection, green production, etc.
2. Recycling and reuse policy
Dongpeng has advanced sewage purification system, sewage recycling utilization to achieve zero emissions; in the flue has treatment, it has flue gas desulphurization purification environmental protection system, which effectively reduces the sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide particulate matter emissions; in waste treatment, recycling and turning waste into treasure effectively realize the energy-saivng reduction rate reach to 40%.
3. Energy saving
In the production process, Dongpeng adheres to energy saving and cost reducing; it technology research and transform drastically reduces the firing kiln tail & flue gas and sulfur dioxide generation and emission to save standard coal 4,000 tons, and to reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by up to 14 tons; because of its significant environmental benefits, Dongpeng is identified as a clean production enterprise in Guangdong, China.
4. Green public welfare
In 2012, Dongpeng initiated establishment of the public benefit organization of the alliance of green performers, and elected the president of Dongpeng Holdings as the chairman of the alliance. And meanwhile, Dongpeng spent 10 million yuan to initiate the foundation of the alliance of green performances in Guangdong, and started a large-scaled “Beautiful Village” plan nationwide for calling more entrepreneurs with environment-friendly products and environmental protection and low carbon awareness and social volunteers to participate in changing rural appearance.
